Mika's new DVD series is finally available

order Mine on Friday

I have been looking forward for this since your first post on "plug your business " thread.

Order mine the evening your paypal went live . And Mikka gave your dvd a plug on runout radio after his US open win.

Heck your sample vids already helped me. I picture the cue ball the way your sample vids have the it setup.

*cheers* Here's to a successful launch

Thanks for the info.

I checked out the program and it looks cooool, but i know nothing about it, but movies at its not my business. I was hoping something like this was possible with 3ds and autocad. I've got some crazy idea to use 3d to analyse a big 14-1 run, and was hoping i could get there with 3d studio and autocad.

Check turbosquid, they should have lots of 3ds pool tables... I use cinema4d (and not very well) and it modeled and textured a diamond table in about 8 hours.

They only took me...what? 4 years to make.

1000s of hours of hard work (literally), and I've finally finished them.

If anyone sees anything wrong with the site, please PM me asap. Comments are also appreciated.

(ignore the screwed up top menu buttons...im fixing them as we speak)

Speaking of which, you guys are full of good ideas, so feel free to share any marketing suggestions as well. :)

TWO THUMBS UP! Very well made!

Wow. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the great feedback. Everyone here has had nothing but great things to say. I appreciate it immensely.

Are ya kiddin me? You deserve it... You put together an amazing DVD, far better than any other in history. If this DVD could be presented at the Academy Awards, you would hands down win an oscar!

I was trying to think of the name of the program earlier, but didn't remember it until now. It's a freeware program called Blender.

http://www.blender.org/

You can download the program from the website (somewhere on there, as I never actually checked). It's certainly not as intense as 3D Studio or XSI, but it's plenty sufficient and will save you about $3,500.

DVD is out

Hey guys,

Thanks for the nice feedback.

I have to say it was really nice to work with Nathan and his crew on the DVD.

It was hard work, pretty intense time putting all the shots together. But in the end I was really happy to see how professional these guys were. I had a feeling that this could be something big.

Anyways, if the ball keeps rolling the way it has done lately, No doubt its a hit.

Mika's first post.

Cool.

Mika: I bought the set and can't wait to watch it. I saw you playing 14.1 at Derby City last year and in New Jersey. I thought you were playing the best in NJ in the early rounds and figured you would take it down.

Congratulations on all your recent successes.

Maybe in the future you could do a 14.1 dvd.

Review..

have to agree with everyone. this simply the best pool instructional video hands down. told my gf right away that i wanted this for my x-mas gift. Love the narration and cinematography and direction. Having mika in it is a huge bonus as his stroke is textbook flawless.

the only gripe i had about this..and it's a very very little one. I can hear the director calling "action" to mika just before he shoots each shot. It caught me by surprise since i could hear it in several of the shots.

Excellent work. Congrats and thank you for making this contribution to the pool community.

Nathan using open source nice!!

*edit*

The samples on the trailer were from a few weeks ago. Since then the DVDs have been through some fine tuning. The samples on the website will soon reflect the changes.

In the meantime, I was hoping no one would notice :p

Even still, good feedback and I appreciate the criticism.

The series is available internationally from the website.

Just out of curiosity, what gave you the impression that they were only available locally? Not exactly the impression that I want portray. :p

Did not really see any information about shipping and handling. So I thought I ask.

Clicked purchase and there was a fix shipping and handling rate.

Maybe i was not looking at the right places.

Mika, Nathan could tell you that I was probably one of the first to put in an order! I was sold on the videos the minute I knew you were in it. Your demos look nothing short of 'fantastic'!

Thanks for the info MasterClass. I'm still trying to figure out how to implement multiple shipping options with PayPal. If anyone knows how to do this, please PM me.

Completely true. The site went up and I immediately attempted to notify you about it ...but it was too late. You had made the purchase before I managed to finish typing the message. lol

Hi Nathan! Great job with the dvd:s. The quality looks very solid and the hottest player of the year gives it the edge to be the best instructional video pool world has never seen before.

BTW. I ordered the volume 2 and 3 here in Finland last weekend. How long do you think it takes them to get here?

Hey just an idea, but Nathan i think you can get even more traffic u post this thread in the wanted/for sale section too =)

Videos looked great, good luck on your sales!
