MIKE COCHRAN***** finished by*****TONY BB

A Tribute!!!

This cue will be a legacy cue for Mike. It is one of his most beautiful cues and with Tony finishing it makes it huge. This cue will live on and carry on the talent that was Cochran cues.

Love everything about this one, and it has an historic pedigree. The commemorative Tony did is just very special. Great pic of you & Mike - and in Tony's shop. Just a great tribute all around.

by far one of the only few cues that manages to capture me with a great story and i would have to say perfect looks. Love everything about the cue.:thumbup::thumbup:

Steve, That cue has to be one of your most prized cues of all and that's saying a lot with your collection. I still can't believe Mike is gone and I have a few shafts that he worked on for me that i'll never part with (he matched the ring work on the shafts to cues I owned). Every time I pick one of those shafts up to play with I think about Mike telling me every ivory dash was a separate inlay and it was going to take a little longer to finish them than he thought when he started the job. The cue world has lost one of the finest cue makers ever!

You can't put a value on your Cochran cue like you said, especially with the story that goes with it.......

Even without the back story, that cue is frick'n cool! I absolutely love the interpretation.

hey

My thanks to everyone for all the memories and thoughts of a great friend to all of us............

Steve, I really like the cue you are holding but i think you riled up the little leprechaun. Good thing he has his Irish hard hat on. l.o.l.. You and Tony can be honorary Irishmen because i'm an honorary Italian l.o.l. Again i am so proud of Tony for doing this deed of kindness.
Perfect cue for your family heirloom, Best to all.

Been waiting...

So you Eric and I got the last of the last. We loved Mike's work. We will miss him. We three.
Tony is a Prince of a guy to do that finish work. To say he is backed up is an understatement.
I wish Mike started building his own high end cues 15 years ago. I can't imagine the impact he would have had on the entire industry.
Great cue, So, I have the last complete cue by Mike?
The rings really would have looked sweet double ivory sandwich top and bottom the way Mike was planning. Oh well. You really had a nice suprise coming if you turned Mike loose on those rings Mr Steve. A little birdie told me.
Sweet cue! The colors are dazzling.
Wear it out!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Steve, I was all set to leave mine incomplete now after seeing this gorgeous cue I'll have to rethink Tony's offer to finish mine.
Beautiful cue.
Words can not say how bad we miss Mike.

Nick, the rings came out exactly how I wanted them, anything different and I would have been dissapointed. Mike knew that, and he came through like always.
thanks Nick

Eric, being they were so close, it was an easy decision to make.....and now I have a perfect MC cue with BB shafts to play with. Does it get better than that?

Love this cue

I had the chance to see this cue at the shop when I was down to see Mike a few times. I told him how much I likes the metal rings and he said, in Mikes own way... F*%& those rings. That will be the last mother f^*%@ing cue I make with metal F*@^ing rings. LOL! Gotta love Mike. I told him I like that one just about as much as I love mine. Great cue Steve. I hope to make it up the next time Jay comes to see you. That Scruggs is sweet.

Matt, Thats exactly what he told me for 3 weeks. I know he hated doing it, but that would never divert Mike from doing the finest job he could....as usual
