Some of the Specs

I still don't have all the specs but here is a bit more information. Ebony Forearm and Sleeve with Curly Maple inlays. Sterling Silver Stitch rings at Joint and on Each Shaft. Both Shafts are right at 13mm Cue weight is either 19.4 or 19.6 (He just told me, sucks to get old and forget this easy)

Nice Player.

Mike's cues play great. The break and run racks. Good luck with the sale. poolrod.

Price

58 inches - 19.6 oz.

Ebony butt and forearm with 4 floating points inlaid with gold-stained fiddleback maple and ivory.

Fancy sterling silver "stitch" rings.

Flat-face, 3/8 x 10 joint.

Two 13mm shafts with Aegis ferrules and Talisman Pro Medium tips.

Custom walnut joint protectors.

Black with white speck linen wrap.

Approximately 5 yrs. old and lightly played. Condition is very to excellent with no dings and a minor lift of finish* below the joint ring on the butt.

Playability: Plays great. This is a slender cue that feels lively and lighter than it's actual weight. Originally, the stick had a type of ferrule that caused a harsh, "clangy," very firm hit, now it is more ivory-like. It has a neutral to slightly weight forward balance.

*I'll try to get a picture of that.

900 for this beauty.

new info

New information from my friend

"I was looking closely at the Sigel this morning and I may or may not be able to sell it right now. The finish is lifting around the butt joint collar more than I had thought, it used to be quite minimal. I have a call in to Proficient Billiards for an estimate to fix. I could sell it as is, and discount it by the amount of the repair, or repair it first."

a refinish, from what i hear, might run you about 150. you could just deduct the price of a refinish from the price

i'd consider buying one of these but only if it was a plane jane (i dig plane jane cues)

Another Update

"I talked to Proficient and Scott said the repair would probably be within $80-120. The higher figure would be for a total butt refinish including wrap. However, I just sent him the picture and he will quote me something later this evening based on the picture and the fact that the wrap is in good shape."

So what do you think?

800 obo as it sits. Talk to me if your interested.

Ready to Go

Bruce is selling this to go to APA Team Nationals in August. Time for a deal is right!

Custom Line

This cue is from his personal custom line, If I understand correctly he had 3 lines of cues, the production line and 2 custom lines.

bump for sale

I think Blud set Mike Sigel up with his equipment to make cues. This cue is in fantastic shape other than the slight separation of finish at the joint. Shafts are in great shape. This is a deal!
