:rotflmao1::dance: Love it Poolnut. I know this forum is full of Sigel haters but I always liked him. Also worthy of note is not one of the haters can play a fraction of his speed. The broken stick was calm compared to Earl. Let me first say that I'm an Earl fan ... love to watch him play but come on guys when he busts a stick he beats it to death on the floor. Just sayin' :D

That entire inning was rough. He was in trouble the whole time, couldn't quite seem to get in line, and he FINALLY manages to make something happen on a very difficult shot...and it's like the seas parted and a black hole sucked the ball into the side pocket. I would have been pretty frustrated too!
 
I've always loved watching Sigel play. He was truly an artist at the table. Sometimes the strokes just don't work our right and you have to get rid of the brush and try a new one.
 
I think it's in poor taste to go looking for reasons to hate on professional players. They have it tough enough as it is. That video is 20 years old, and very old news. Mike Sigel "retired" from pro pool, after winning 100 professional events...how many have you won? Is there nothing in your last 20 years of life that you wish you hadn't done? This is at least the second thread you've started, just to badmouth pro players. Can you not find anything positive to post about, Pool Chump? :rolleyes:

He obviously knows nothing of neither mike sigel or earl

To compare the to is ridiculous,in behavior
Mike just talks to himself while hes playing
Not berating his opponent while his opponent is shooting

Is that the first time you very ever seen Mike sigel,bro?

Sigel had a great hustle, he would come up to the table he was going to play on , hit a ball toward a corner pocket, and go pick at something near it.
He would do that over and over during a match , picking at imaginary spots , talking about the pocket playing funny , the cloth was loose etc.
The crazy thing was that a lot of his opponents went for it, and would miss a key shot to that pocket in a match .
 
The difference is Earl will insult and pester fans. There's a reason he
is hated by so many. I know people will say all pro sports have a villain
but the difference is, in pool were hanging by a thread while others have
flourished into billion dollar businesses. Pool has not and can't afford it!!!
