I know you said these weren't for sale, so can you tell me where i can get a pair or 2? Very nice looking jp's, and they aren't as easy to find as i would hope...

A gentleman that goes by the name of Cue Caps on this board does them, and does awsome work. PM him and he'll take care of you, I'm sure.

Chuck if you use diamond wood you don't even have to finish them. I use a little beeswax and they shine up great.

I've seen his work, and it is beautiful. But they're so nice i think they'd take the focus off of my cues! Plus, most of his posts say butt only and that only gets me half way there. Does anyone else do custom jp's? I have a half dozen from mueller, but i'd like to have something a little different. Looking for 5/16x14 and 3/8x10 long pin. Thanks for the input!

Hello Everyone!!!
Thanks for your recomendations & Post, and Sorry to do this on your post Chuck...Pocketwolf, I do make Shaft sides, but, If I made the shaft caps for each Butt, I'd go broke. The JP Pins for the Radial Pin is $3.00 + each and will have too much money in Pins on Shaft caps that might not sell. Also, Guys might want a nice protector only on the Butt side, and a plain black cap on the Shaft sides. Or spend a lot on a fancy Butt side, rather than spend a lot for both Butt and Shaft caps. Just for thought. Thanks again Everyone....Alton

Your business just like everyone elses requires that you C.Y.A. If you have to put 3$ more in get at least that back out. You make some really great looking caps. You definitely have a niche.

I have 6 diff. lathes 2 of them are mini lathes . I make J/P's for about 8 diff. pins , and always do both male and female. Thanks Jim

Hey whats up with all these JP guys jumping on my thread
Just kidding
I just wanted to show that you could do more with a mini-lathe,which cost me about 300 new than you could with like a Willard at 400+
Cheap way to get started working on cues
Paid for itself in no time just doing tips and ferrules for friends and league
players in my area
