Missouri State 9 ball Bar Box Championship @ Teachers Billiards 7/16-7/18 $1400 1st

Teachers Billiards in St Peters @ the intersection of Jungerman and 94/364 will be hosting the Missouri State 9 ball tournament. $1000 will be added based on 80 players. Round Robin flights will be conducted Friday night 7/16 and Saturday afternoon and evening 7/17.

On Sunday 7/18 the top 25 will start another set of flights of 5 players with the top 2 advancing plus a couple wild cards double elimination.

Please see attached flyer for exact details. Missouri State ID required, the earlier you pay the better chance you have of picking your playing time.

For you Railbirds there will be a Calcutta on the top 25 players 11 a.m. on Sunday prior to the final flights of 5 being started. Decent calcutta last time but more participants are encouraged to show up.

I would contribute if it weren't so far to St. Peters. Need to get more good tournaments going in Springfield (area).

Teacher brought these events back from hibernation. Maybe Phil can run more than 1 event a year?

100 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Nice cool pool hall, hot wings and hot waitresses. Oh for the ladies, there is a good looking cook? Or at least that is what he said.
 
Friday night is filling up fast - easier fish to be found Saturday morning or evening.
 
Maybe there'll be a ring game on one of the 9 footers for the railbirds too? I can't decide if I wanna drive out there and sweat a few friends I have playing in it or not. It's kind of a long haul to not play pool.

I recommend Sunday. In the final 12 you get to see guys string 4 and 5 racks.

Plus you might be able to steal some of my money on a 9 footer.:eek:
 
ha! I was thinking about going up Saturday and maybe some pics of the event just cuz I haven't shot a camera in a while. *shrug* we'll see how it goes.
