Mizerak vs. Strickland 1993 "plus two system"?

In this match at the 53:10 mark Grady and the other guy talk about the "plus two" system for kicking. I'm unfamiliar with this. What exactly are they talking about?

It is an entertaining match. Mizerak struggled early on but finally got in a groove. Earl makes his run outs look so easy. He kept his composure so much better back then. It's a shame he can't keep it together better. His talent level may have dropped off somewhat from his prime, but I think most of his problems are mental as he is still very capable of high level play.

That’s everyone’s “problem” generally speaking......Earl was never what you and I would call normal, if he was he’d have been another run of the mill pro if you ask me.

Dr Dave and Bob Jewett have videos explaining it. It's the only math based system I use and it is a solid system. The best thing about it is it's simple which for a simple minded guy like myself is good. Works great when the object ball and cue ball are on or near the same rail but also works in other situations. In that case the object ball and cue ball were 4 diamonds apart. The diamond closest to the pocket on the short rail is 3, the diamond in the middle is 5. Aim between the two diamonds =4. Simple system and as Earl showed it works.

By the way, youtube has a feature where you can pause the video and post the link at the place where you paused it. Not criticizing, just giving information.

I believe that Steve was playing with a Richard Black at this time frame, I also play with the RB split diamond cue
