The only thing smokinaces said that really bothered me, is when he called the cue "rare".
When SA told the board to buy the cue or ****-off I thought it was funny, and when he started his little Richie Incognito/Aaron Hernandez routine I kind of felt sorry for him.
I can take quite a bit, but calling that cue rare was way over the top.
As far a Dom_poppa is concerned, well...he's complicated.

Even though it's easy enough to spoof your IP address most people don't go through the "pain" of doing it cuz they don't know how to do it or it isn't worth it.. So, technically most of the online forums ban people based on their IP address. Some websites even throw MAC address of the device into the mix along with username.
I am pretty sure the MAC address is stripped off by the first Layer 3 device the packets pass through on the way to a destination network.
