I have made two threads regarding a recent issue I had with a seller on here. The threads were both removed and I would like to know why. I checked the rules and Im pretty sure I didnt brake any of them.

the thread wasnt any of the following.

1. Unproductive
2. Bashing
3. It didnt have foul language
4. It certainly didnt hurt anyone

I have seen many worse threads get left up. I didnt even make claims as to who the person I was talking about and I just asked for others opinions. Can the moderator who deleted my thread please post here or PM me as I am goign to repost but I want to make sure it doesnt get deleted.

Thanks:smile:

if it ain't braked, don't fix it

if it's broked, delete it

from the Moderator's Guide 101 v. 5.9.3

page 398, paragraph 4

It's sort of like arguing with the ref. at an NBA game. Never once in the history of mankind has arguing resulted in the ref reversing his decision... but it HAS resulted in more than few additional penalties :P Best to suck it up. Don't get hit with a technical.

Spoken like a guy who lives in Celtics-country.

Rasheed, just shut up!

prolly deleted because your thread was a waste of time and bandwidth, in addition to casting a shadow of guilt over some who are innocent, by not naming a seller

I never wanted to drag the sellers name through the mud. I thought that was honerable of me....

I just wanted to know why it was deleted....

If you make a mistake I think you should be advised of it so as not to repeat the mistake again.

Guess it was a poor decision on my part....?

Thanks anyway....

I know the main forum gets the best exsposure. maybe the mod of the day thought different and wanted it in the wanted to buy/ for sale forum.

i see your sig now. i was a dummy that time !

Still havnt had a clear response as to why my posts were deleted. Moderators????????????????

Maybe you should try a PM. :idea2:
Was your post in the for sale section?
Did it have something for sale?

Mr. Wilson handles most of that sort of thing. Probably he was the guy who killed it.

If you really want to hash it out, send him a message. Go to http://forums.azbilliards.com/member.php?u=3374 and click the send message button under his status. He's more likely to see your question that way.

Just be sure you're clear, before you click send, that you're genuinely confused and want to get clarification on the rules.

If you know deep down you screwed up and posted something where it didn't belong, or posted something that would piss people off... and now you just want to complain because you wanted to keep bìtching in that thread... you probably shouldn't waste his time. Remember, no matter what you say, there is 0% chance the thread will be put back. So if that's your goal, forget it.

I posted it in the forsale and the main forum. I appreciate the help getting ahold of him. My thread getting deleted from both forums cought me by suprise. I pormiss I would win an IQ contest with a rock and didnt do anything out of line. (TO MY KNOWLEDGE)

Thanks again....

You made a single thread, not a pair and you put the thread into the wanted/sales forum.

Nothing new under the sun guys. If you are not buying or selling..I will delete it.

Not a question and not a debatable issue.

You have iTrader and the buyer/seller report to speak up in.
You may not create a bunch of threads hashing out your issues even if it was in the main forum, as it is not the place for it.

Plenty of poeple feel they are "protecting" others from a "bad" seller etc....however if people would follow our advise and use a trusted escrow service, there wouldn't be an argument to start with.

This is not a new scenario and I'm sure if you ask or do a search, you will find that your question and other's like it have been aaddressed many times over.

Dave

Thank you for your response. I did place it in the main forum also.... Again, I wanted to know what rules I had broken, thank you for your input. I simply wanted others opinions.
