I've seen no homophobia on this board so far. People have asked questions. Everyone in America went nuts when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got together (and when they broke up). We, however, happen to like pool more than their movies and/or songs. Personally, I don't care about the pool celebrity gossip, but so what if someone does?
Lighten up. Every question concerning a same-sex couple isn't an attack.
Best of luck to both of them, hope they have room for a pool table in the new place.

I knew that someone was going to take it worng if I asked the question. Where in that question did I even allude to any kind of gender preference or discrimination of same sex couples????? It was a simple question!!!!! I just didnt know that they were specifically a couple. I think that its people like you who are quick to jump on others for asking questions that make subjects like this so blown out of proportion. When I read the article in billiards digest about Helena I didnt even put two and two together when they were talking about buying a house together. I only thought that it was cool that two pros are living together. It was not until Gumbocue mentioned them being love birds that I made the connection. I think that its great. Love is all the same no matter what gender you are. So relax and just play pool

it was asked if they were a COUPLE, not if they were GAY.
This is getting out of hand. Nosaj asked if they were a couple and he gets jumped on.
Hell, if Helena and Monica are open about it, why would someone get jumped if he asked if they are a couple?
I've met Helena at Hard Times years ago. She was always nice to everyone.

Why is this turning into a fight over who can quote the Bible more accurately, when everybody's quoting from different versions of it? 
The whole point of this thread (I thought) was to let the pool community know that two of the top female players in the world are getting a house together, and to congratulate them. It's a great thing they're together. It's obviously not an abomination, for it is a natural thing. I hope they enjoy their new life together, and can ignore certain bigotries from certain people.
