I took delivery of this cue on 9/20/08. The cue was delivered by Art at the 2008 Hopkins Show in VF. The scrimshaw was done by Sandra Brady. This is one of the most amazing cues I have ever seen. Enjoy.

As a bit of a gambler myself ;) , let me be the first to say

WOW!!!

Now THAT is a cue. The detail on the cards is just amazing.

Great colors and wood choice, too.

Hands down the best "Gambler Cue" I've ever seen.

Thanks for sharing!

Super Gambler

I typically hate gambler cues and I'm not sure I really know why. I think it's because they are not symetrical in their design. Regardless I do like this cue an awful lot, the scrimshaw by Sandra is really amazing. She does wonderful work. Another nice cue you have here Mike. Thanks for posting these great pictures.

Amazing Cards and Cue (Not good Dice)

I love the scrim work and that the cards are very "strong" portraits and not the regular Bicycle type.

The only thing that bugs me (Being a very dedicated Craps player) is that most dice on cues are not correct

i.e. the opposite faces on a die should always add up to 7.

So looking at 3 faces you should never see the 6 and 1 or the 5 and 2 because they would actually be on opposite sides of the cube.

But I shouldnt nitpick.

The cue is HOT!!!

Lol

very nice Art cue

I guess it will be for sale pretty soon?????????????????????

Steve:

I purchased the cue to hang on to for a while. I am of the opinion that this Cantando is one of Art's five biggest cues. I'm not a collector by any means, and will move the cue when and if the right offer comes along. If that does not happen for years, that's fine with me. I'll just put it away and sell it to help put my two kids through college.

I like...

I like the cue a lot for sure!!! I never was a fan of gamblers but I am liking them more and more, that I put an order for a gambler cue myself...that hopefully will be delivered at VF this year personally by the maker, which will make it even more special.

the third pic down for some reason the inlay looks crooked, I know its probably the pic, at least I hope!

I, too, never really like Gambler cues. But I do have to say that this one is amazing.

And also look closely at the rings, they also look " off " along with the dice in the points....................

You must be blind as a bat! The rings are perfectly aligned all the way up and down the cue. Could you do better? That's what I figured, so please keep a lid on it. Also, Art never intended the dice to be stacked one on top of the other in a perfectly straight line. That would be BORING!

The rings look like the blocks arent centered in all of the rings to me but heck what would i know ive only scene a couple of A.C. cues and didnt think the level of work was that great............... And i will also speak whenever i want to as i believe they havent changed the constitution lately...... As far as the dice they all look pretty good except for one set in one of the pictures to me......
Oh yes the old " THAT WOULD BE BORING"......... "OF COURSE IT WOULD"...... ;)

im not saying that i could do better by any means. but i have to say that the ring above the butt cap, the squares maqy be in line with the other rings but it looks like they arent centered between the silver rings. dont get me wrong its a gorgeous cue but if i were to pay for such an expensive cue i would want everything to be perfect including the numbers on the dice as was mentioned earlier. just my .02

Because you think my eye for detail is so bad why is the so called queen marked with an A for and Ace or is it that the Ace is marked with a queens face ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Mr. Details ........................

That's a BIG BAD CUE! I Love the way the dice are! They look like someone
Rolled them. Thanks For Your Time, Mike.
