Moori tips genuine or imitation?

Doubles, I have also read on AZ where people feel the same way re Wizards.

I do stock them and they are a decent tip but haven't used Mooris enuff to make a comparison.

I have approx 40 Mooris left from a few years ago and at over 1 K for 60 tips, Knock Offs or not, I will be doing a Texas on these in the future. El Paso.

Something doesn't jive here. Atlas has been in business for a long time and are probably aware of the Moori controversy over the past year or so.

Where would a large billiard supply company go to buy their Moori stock. Direct or from a reputable company that they have done volume business with previously. I would bet either.

I would also bet that if these are Knock Offs, someone may have also made Atlas aware of it. For them to know and continue to advertise them as genuine, I highly doubt it.

Never know. Bigger mistakes have been made. In this case, I would give Atlas the benefit on this one.

I just don't see Atlas making a mistake as this nor false advertising.

Its funny Atlas monitors this forum, and if someone bad mouth them they will not sale anything to them anymore.

So Terrance my friend you tell me, when Atlas was breaking the 1988 pre ban ivory law and shipping ivory to Asia I believe or more directly to people in japan do you think that was a mistake or for profit.

Because I think it only became a mistake after they got caught

Yes, we believe they do in fact monitor this forum as do a lot of people. Let's not turn this into a bash the supplier thread as they are an upstanding pillar of the billiard community and well respected AZ advertiser. In fact, they are so well respected by this forums management, that this forum has deleted no fewer than two threads regarding their questionable Moori tips which they are trying to sell to the entire billiard community (proves it's a sore spot with them). We cannot understand why management would delete a thread regarding an advertiser. These suppliers are pillars equal to or greater than the likes of Predator and Tiger. They are above reproach (they can do no wrong) at least on AZ where there is advertiser protection.

There is no reason to bring up any criminal activity by anyone as two wrongs do not make a right. The fact that a company was raided and paid hefty fines to the tune of $160k is no reason to bring it up in this thread nor should it reflect poorly going forward towards anyone. Despite all that, they are looked upon as a pillar of the billiard community and a well respected AZ advertiser. Let us not forget that for one moment.
