Moori Tips renamed/Slow/Medium/Quick

Forever.... tips have been Soft/Medium/Hard.

Now they have been renamed, slow/medium/Quick????????

What the hell does Quick mean to a beginning player?
If your a beginner, slow learner, are you suppose to use a Slow tip?
Or a medium if your 590 Fargo, or if you wanna learn fast and your a 500 Fargo then, get a Quick Tip :).
 
Why? I order a couple moori this past year. Soft/Med/Hard was how they were listed.

Who was the first mfg that named a tip Quick? I'd love to hear their reasoning.
 
I think Morri has referred to them as slow/med/quick for as long as I can remember. It might be from the translation from Japanese to English. It's the dealers, such as Seyberts for example, that advertise the soft/med/hard.

Seriously?????????? Original Moori's have always been this way. Some of their other tips(Coral,Ruby,etc) may be listed as slow/med/hard.
 
Next, they will be rated with a fargo range rating, oh, and also let's not forget it's robustness.
 
Yep Zar.... I'm gonna ask my Hat Maker about this ''new way'' of talking about leather.

He's is currently making hats for Sam Elliott and Val Kilmer and also teaches/classes.
I know he uses leather at times, it would be interesting if this horse calmer, hat maker (40+yrs) movie set worker sees the industry talking about saddles etc being Quick or Medium leathers.

The original Moori's were marked as S, M, H and maybe a MH for soft, medium, hard and maybe medium hard. Quick came on a later edition several years later.
