More Affordable Predator Revo Cues

I bought one. Yes it's not that visually appealing. But who cares about anyone's opinion anyway. It plays jam up just don't know why the hell Predator decided to sell it with a Soft Victory tip. Shot about 20 racks with it and it started to mushroom already. They specifically say in the box that any altering to the shaft will void the warranty so I'm sketchy about having my local guy reshape the tip or even swap it out for me with out putting sand scratches on the shaft to find out they won't come out. Been calling predator to see who in my area has been trained to change tips or even reshape it but haven't been able to get through to anyone. View attachment 433450

I like the look of it. Cleary's cue had a very crisp sound - thawack!

I got mine on Wednesday and have put about 20 racks on it. Love it!!! I describe the hit as very solid....not like maple....but like there's rebar in the shaft!. Mine had that guarantee slip in box....the one that says I won't ever miss a shot again. I did miss a couple so that proves the warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. I don't think I'll send it back though. Mitch Oh....I reallyreally like how it looks.

LOL Mitch! Couldn't wait, huh? It is a remarkable shaft...that's for sure. See you in about a month.

Purchased the sp2 and put a kamui clear soft on. It's a great shaft, don't get me wrong, but not really an upgrade over a Z2 or Z3. I own all of the mentioned shafts and plays just about the same. Stiffer, but not better.

Scott. This is all your fault. You were the first on the block to own one. You started it. Next time you have a great product to recommend kindly do not let me know about it. Thanks. Frank

Not bad if it plays as well as the Z3....And won't warp & a bigger tip area. Think that would all be ++

Like to try one. But really need a Radial but that is a well beaten dog already.

Where you going to be Scott?

Not fair if yours is radial and so it will fit my Black Pearl. Kind of like a lady showing you it then not letting you have some...HA HA

Just curious: could one of you proud and bulky Revo owners kindly whack one of these shafts against the metal trim on a GC and report back? I'd like to know how they hold up to dings off tables, shelves, armchairs, your opponent's dental work, etc.

Lou...Been there, done that long ago. Already reported it here...NO DAMAGE. That said, you still won't believe it, and you will still badmouth the Revp shaft...because that's who you are! :D
