Thanks Colonel! There are a few things that I consider important that didn't make the cut to be included in My Little Black Book. I will share one of them on here now.

Did you ever notice when a player takes a deep breath before shooting a hard shot. Well, there's a reason for it. A large intake of air is like a quick infusion of oxygen to the brain and clears your head so your mind is working optimally. It also helps you slow everything down inside your body and give you the best chance of making the shot. So my recommendation is that when facing a difficult shot, stop and take a deep breath and then get into the shot. It will help!

I been zippin through it and unlike the colonial colernal, I am reading the pages in order.

Lovin it, jay. Thanks for sharing your tales.

Funny how a few of the tomes, Tokyo, Germany, the fresco tourney...could have been told by ini. I had those happen to me too (except the huebler).

Start the next book yet? Something internationally oriented, perhaps? Titled : pool world wars 3, or pool WW3

By now many of you have read More Pool Wars. I'd like to get your feedback; good, bad or indifferent. Thanks

Jay,

You have a great way with words. Easy reading that is enjoyable, instructional and memorable.

I give both of your books my highest recommendation and if someone has not yet purchased, let me herein chase them to your website to acquire.

I would wager you could fill an entire hard bound book recounting the adventures you have experienced as an event promoter and as a bigtime referee. Filled exclusively with your personal experiences, not including situations you may have heard about.

Thanks for writing the books, and for your substantive contributions to our genre.

Will Prout

I enjoyed it thoroughly, the only disappointment was that it ended too soon, more please sir. For any that have not purchased this book I highly recommend it, a very enjoyable read.

Just finished Jay's new book, loved it. Recommended to all. Pool stuff, life stuff, good tips in the back. Very interesting !! Consider it a character flaw if you don't read it :-) !!

I will not be attending the Super Billiard Expo and have not made any arrangements with any dealers who are going there. You can still get a copy of More Pool Wars directly through me. Perhaps by the BCA Nationals I will have made arrangements with some dealers to carry it. Thanks

I'm not done with it, but it's been very enjoyable so far. Good job Jay!

Great book Jay. Another good read from you and I hope yet another follows sometime in the future.

Will there be a Kindle edition? I hope so. My eyes don't do well with small print.

Very kind words Will. That is the most important thing to me, that people enjoy my stories. ;)

Keith, it was five years between volume one and volume two. At this time I'm not sure there will be a volume three. I will tell you this, I left out about a half dozen stories that didn't quite make the cut for one reason or another. Some were too graphic and some I was just not ready to tell yet because of the other people involved. Maybe next time.

One of the things I had changed in this new book was bolder print for just the reason you are talking about. There will be a kindle version, but I couldn't say for sure when. Probably sometime this Summer.

I've seen it

I believe this is a good tip, Jay; I remember Earl doing this before he took a pretty tough shot......I think it was one of those long straight-in shots; he stepped back and took several long deep breaths, got down and fired it in!

Really enjoyed the book, Jay! I would try to just read a few chapters at night, but would find myself reading on. Finally when I was finished, I thought I must have skipped some of it (very easy read). A lot of the stories overlapped the time period that I experienced. Sure took me back and brought back a lot of memories, and in the end they can never take that from us. Thanks!
