That two was not as simple as it looked, he's close to it with severe cut...Not too severe but being too close to it made it 10 times harder, put that one on a table and you'll see what I mean. Also, put all of the balls because playing shape made it also a little bit harder too.

Styer up to the table and breaks dry. Overall, poor breaking on both sides in this match. Gets a fortunate leave with no open shot on the 1, forces the push out from Europe. Albin leaves Reinhold a shot he likes, a kick shot that can only be described as okay. Europe with a blind cut opportunity on the 1 down the table. Kaci gets down and shoots an uninspiring defense. Styer has a chance here. Sinks the 1 but forced to make contact with other balls and leaves the cue precariously in the bottom corner pocket, with a shot down table on the 2 in the corner. Reinhold plays conservatively and banks the 2 down table and successfully hides it.

Albin forced to take a tough kick and makes good contact, but doesn’t hit it hard enough and leaves a good shot on the 2 for Styer. Reinhold plays a deceivingly difficult shot on the 3, perfect leave on the 4, only for Styer to overthink it into a snooker behind the 6 ball. Reinhold elects for the kick as opposed to the jump, leaves the 5 open, and it looks like it’s Europe’s rack.

And then Kaci flubs the 5, missing by half a Diamond on an easy shot in the corner! Commentators letting him have it, he’s really struggling out there. Fortunate leave though and Styer forced either a thin cut or kick on the 5. We get an incredible shot by Tyler, hiding the cue on his kick shot and forcing Albin to take a difficult kick of his own. He could, USA takes ball in hand, and hard to see them losing the rack here.

Connect the dots pool with only a nervy shot on the 8 down table for Styer, and he bangs it in, and USA gets on the hill to 4-2.

You are right and Dont get me wrong, I only make that shot 20% of the time...but he is one of the best in the country. I think he would agree that he should have made it...

Albin breaks and once again, if this were another tournament, it would be an illegal break—balls still hanging out at the bottom end of the table around the spot. Still, an easy layout for the pros here, and it looks like quick work for the Euros. Kaci once again poor cue ball control and Albin forced to shoot the 5 and leave a 6-8 combo into the corner. It looks dead on, and it is. Kaci controls it and Europe with a much needed break and run. 4-3 USA

Reinhold’s turn to break and USA has the opportunity to ice the Euros and take the match in this rack. He hits a powerful break but dry nonetheless. No easy shot on the 1 but it’s open, and the defensive shot fails to leave the 1 tied up for USA. Styer can see the 1, cuts it into the side rail and leaves it hidden with the cue down table. Kick shot for Kaci, who makes contact and sinks the 8 hanging in the corner pocket, with a shot left on the 1 for Albin. It’s a runnable table now.

Kaci leaves yet another difficult shot for Albin after failing to draw the ball far enough after the shot on the 2. Albin makes the touchy shot on the 3 and gets great position for Kaci on the 4. Albin rattles the 5 into the corner, Kaci left with a 6 ball near the rail into the corner, doesn’t go in clean but it goes nonetheless. Europe takes care of business to go hill-hill, 4-4 with Europe up to break.

Final rack, Kaci breaks closer to the middle than anyone else thus far. And it’s another dry break. Looks like league night from a breaking perspective.

1 ball is clearly visible for USA but no open pot, seemingly forced to shoot a defense. Instead, Reinhold takes a misguided combo shot down the table, and though he makes it, he hides the cue ball with no shot on the 1. Styer makes contact on the kick and gets decent defensive position, Europe has to come with something here and takes their extension to think it through. Crowd sounds like a pack of hyenas and basically only react on safety’s and extensions at this point.

Kaci with another major error as we get the first time foul I can remember in the mosconi cup in years. He simply didn’t shoot in time. Crowd hates it. Still not an open table for USA who has a mostly runnable rack up until the 7, which is tied to the 9 at the bottom rail. Going to take some creativity if they want to run this. Easy pots up to the 5-8 combo Reinhold sets up for a Styer into the side. He sinks it and pushes the 5 down near the cluster. Reinhold needs his best shot thus far here. He pots the ball and successfully breaks out the cluster, but now a long cut into the corner for Styer. Will this end up on his potential MVP reel? Yes! He makes the pot, leaves position on the 7, easy 9 for Tyler the kid, and USA completes the upset, 5-4!

It wasn't a time foul. Kaci shot when it was supposed to be Albin's shot.
