Its a one-off/yearly deal, its not a championship but merely 12mos. of bragging rights, nothing more. The US will be lucky to win three of the next ten, if that.

The poor behavior is not driving whatever viewership they’re getting — it’s the play on the tables.

I would argue they’re getting whatever they’re getting in terms of viewership in spite of the drunken, unruly, loud crowd.

When you think about it it’s really not a good look for the sport.

Pool needs the madness, the crazy crowd, the Earl Stricklands and the Jayson Shaws.

Pro pool players should be mentally above and beyond letting some sharking affect them.
