Mosconi Cup 2025, Dec. 3-6, Alexandra Palace, London

Take captaincy off him, and let him focus on playing.
And what exactly did he do as a captain? He put Fedor in charge of doing drills and setting up practice. So what was he doing so much that distracted him from playing pool? They could've said Fedor was captain and we wouldn't have noticed. It is his lack of practice and dedication that resulted in his poor playing. Not having a million fake responsibilities as captain. Even if he wasn't a captain, he would've performed the exact same.

Scott Frost pretty much said what I’ve been saying. The Americans should attend more events, they need to practice more tough field of players and higher pressure events.
And of course get more used to the playing conditions.
In other words, Athletes mentality…

WNT is 9-Ball
Forget bank pool, one pocket, ultimate pool etc.
only other disciplines to practice are those that are played on WPA/Predator events and the Americans should get more on these as well.
Got to play with the big boys if you want to beat the big boys

MR wants the MC to be a big (obnoxious) party like the darts.
And the darts are so bad that (the hated) Gerwyn Price tried to play with headphones to block out the heckling crowd.
I talked to a Brit that said he came to this event because he had been trying for several years to go to darts at the Ally Pally and couldn't...this was as close as he could get to the environment 🤷

Keep crying. These people are spending their hard-earned money to be there, even though tickets are ridiculously overpriced. If they want to shout, who are you to say otherwise?

If I'm paying $1,000 to be at an event meant for entertainment, no one should be able to tell me to shut up.

Do people on floor seats shut up when LeBron is shooting a freethrow? Go be disgruntled somewhere else.
Talked a few Americans and none complained about the crowd... It was very loud and I would like to see them quiet down when the shooter is down on the shot... When you are there, it is just plain exciting!

Maybe the players get more serious, if they play for own money. Each participant puts in $5k- the winner gets it all. And maybe it woud be nice, if one women and one senior competes.

The only way the USA could be competitive in the Mosconi is to drop the player captaincy and let all 5 players be picked on points. This would generate much more interest in qualifying. Too much buddy shit has been happening for too long.

They also need a Johan type coach.
God could not have coached this team to a win!

Some rich AZ billiards fan can sure spare a million to set up a training fund for a bunch of talents? Grow them now.

I find it peculiar that pool is so ingrained in USA culture but no angel investor to be found? Joe Rogan?
