As long as a shot-clock is involved, it is a joy to watch Ralf Souquet play pool. He executes the shots so beautifully, and his cueball is never out of line.

Ralf 2-0 and Shane just dry broke. Safety battle underway. Shane won safety battle. Running now.
Great, tricky runout by Shane. 2-1
Ralf dry breaks. Safety play. Ralf banks one ball, but it rattles ... then falls. He leaves himself tough on the two ball. Ralf makes a great shot. He will run out but will likely have to play a 5-9 combo that is certainly not dead. He makes it. 3-1
Shane breaks and at the last moment the 5 falls. Shane will have to kick, jump, or push. Shane pushes. Ralf gives it back and Shane hits a good safe, but Ralf can see it. Ralf shoots and misses but leaves nothing. Safety battle on. Ralf makes it and is running out and dogs it. Shane runs out 3-2
Ralf breaks, makes nothing, and leaves hard shot on the 1. Shane makes it and pockets the 2 but leaves tough on the 3. Safety battle until Shane makes beautiful bank on the 3 with no leave on the 4 Another safety battle. Shane leaves Ralf on the rail, looks like Shane won safety battle. Ralf two-rail kicks for a great return. Shane time fouls and the ref (man she's hot) awards ball-in-hand to Ralf. Of course he runs out 4-2 Ralf with Shane breaking.

Match score is 8-5 Europe. Hate to see US losing, but Europe is playing amazing and deserves the win.
