Mosconi Cup - Day One

Hi all
Here's the quickie itinerary for Day One. While in line waiting to get in, I'll be passing out USA Flags and pins for those who want them. Once in the event and your seats have been selected, those who would like to join me in a good luck toast to the boys, meet me in the rear at the bar and we'll tip a shot of Jack (or something of your choosing). After the matches, we are going to have a photo opportunity with Dennis Hatch. After the photo, we can all walk across the indoor bridge to NYNY, where we can have a quick happy hour at either the NYNY center bar or at the ESPNZone. The drinkies are typical vegas, but its easier than sclepping down to Bill's. We'll decide which bar as we're walking over there. Oh, and we all WILL grab Jay Helfert out of the booth to get in the pic with us.......

See you all there! I'll be the idiot in the USA stove pipe hat.

I will be there Saturday and Sunday so I will see you there then, should be alot of fun. :smile:

I am going to try to make it down Friday.... Depends on work hope the Jets cooperate and let me have some down time.

Tim, let me get this right. Are you giving away the flags and pins and also offering to buy shots for people to toast with? Just checking cos if you are doing that or half of that I think you are one hell of a guy. I am not sure if I will be able topull it off but I may be able to talk Archer and Corey Deuel intojoining the photo ops after the match. I am sure they will all be busy and want to celebrate with their team after the first dayof crushing the Euros. Let me know as I will be leaving here in the mornig and heading up there.

I'm bringing the flags and pins (and a few hats), but we'll have to see about the drinkie poos. Depends how many are drinking! Lets see....$500 for a shot for everyone or ????? Sounds like ??? would win out!

Its easier than finding a place at MGM and the walk is all inside. Plus, if it sucks, we can go back to MGM. Last minute idea. There is a happy hour at Planet Hollywood, but typical happy hours suck. We'll keep NYNY for now, and change on the fly after the photo with Dennis.

I will be there with bunch of noise makers, hats, wigs party horn... and even dress up in a custome... I may need few "shots" of encouragement before I get into it though...

Presuming that Chicago weather lets me get in today, I'll be seeing you all in line tomorrow. I'll do a quick hello there, and if Matchroom will let me, one on the microphone before the event.

For all fellow Europeans there..I will be handing out Foghorns, silly hats and gigantic EU-flag banners by the entrance....

just kidding....I wish I could be there....will have to set up sopcast at our poolhall and watch it there...
