I would add that shooting at different speeds and with hi/ low/ centerball changes the outcome drastically.
 
That was a Corey shot for sure.. The best escape of the entire Mosconi Cup for sure!
 
This is why Corey is so much fun to watch. One of the most creative players of all time. Highlight after highlight.

I was there and it was Corey that shot it.

A couple of us had a discussion about it. We were unsure as to if he used left english so that it opened up after striking the second and third rail. Or if he just struck it with right (running english) and had it kill itself on the last two rails. It happened so fast it was hard to determine what he used. Personally I think he used right english like you did.
 
It was Corey vs. Thorsten. Corey lost the match, but came with some good hits- that was the highlight, though.
He plays a nice kick safe in the very first game; I'd say the whole match is worth watching.
