Here's a good idea, create the team with one man short, Then have each team pick a player of their choice, the player thats chosen MUST be at least 55 yrs old. I'd enjoy seeing that mix ALLOT.

Hmmm... that would exclude earl, johnny, and a lot of other guys who we consider past their prime yet still a force to be reckoned with... just about the only player who qualifies would be efren.

Maybe 45?

I think it'd only be enjoyable if these older players shoot great. But if they clearly are over the hill and miss more often than the youngsters, it could be kind of embarrassing.

There's allota Great European Snooker pros, would be nice to see a few of em, ok make it 50 yr old, I Know Buddy Hall Played pret te good @ that age.
It would add more Fun to the event for the crowd....

I would like to see if it comes to a 10-10 tie the 2 captians should play for the deciding rack

Count me in. I'm 54, but I'll be 55 well before the next Mosconi Cup.
