I agree. This is the best "team" we can make.
JJ is 100 years old. JH doesn't take the game as seriously as the OP's players. And his level is a notch below to boot, imo.
Funny shuff and jj did better than all of them at us open and shuff got 4th in the latest mosconi cup points event but Zero about MERIT!!!

No doubt in my mind , I think it's between him and Billy I think Billy has a skill edge but he's got a ways to go on the mental side Josh is seriously mental tough ,

I like Billy for the one pocket....I like Josh for rotation.
I might like Bily for everything in five more years.
I agree 100 pct I think he has a higher upside , but Today for the Team I'd give the slight nod to Josh

I think Billy needs another year of seasoning. The balance is perfect...it always amazes me how Oscar is overlooked. I would replace Thorpe with Dennis H or Rodney (which ever is playing better). Rodney is loose and good in the room. Dennis is fiery and can carry a team if hot.
Hatch no way. He was cursing up a storm on life tv the last time he was on the misconi cup. He also rarely competes much these days. And he's old.
If you're going to have a questionable player on the team, it should be deschaine. His skill set is higher today than hatch or Rodney or earl. They are all questionable choices, so you might as put the best of the on the team.
But I wouldn't sub any of the OP's picks for them.

I like earl ! But, too many are lobbying for billy thorpe! He is close with Sky and they are closer in age ! I guess !
Earl did good Maryland bar box. Big table lost to sky then I guess fell apart? Don't know his second lose?
Anyway, Earl was more of asset then SVB at the cup and that's a fact jack!

But Bergman is only 6 points behind 10th place, so one good finish might jump him up there. Do you know whether he is playing in the Texas Open or Houston Open?
