Corey Scratches on the break.
Corey scratches on the break and gives Euro a chance to run out. Earl claims they foul on a good shot with a break out on the two, but the replay shows it''s no foul. Team Euro looks like they may get out. Stepanov leaves the shape on the eight too straight and Drago tries to force follow and leaves the usa a hanger eight ball. Corey makes the nine and USA takes the overall lead for the Mosconi Cup to 3-1.

Earl gets booed.
Earl gets booed when he calls the ref out on the good call he had made, but Earl thought he double hit it. Corey sticks up for Earl and says that it sounded like a double hit and claims it may have been the cue hitting the rail after the shot. Earl states that they played bad and that they were fortunate that Stepanov screwed up worse than they did.

Neils fails legal break attempt.
Rodney comes back to the table after NEils fails to have two balls pass the head string. Rodney makes an excellent shot and then gets shape the hard way almost scratching. He gets bad shape on the five. He hits the nine out of the way of the six smaking a difficult shot on the five and makes the six, seven, eight and nine to finish the runout and take it 2-0.

He succeeds on getting his shape. Neils gets on the five a little off and barely makes the five. Neils hits the six too hard using the bridge and has a difficult shot on the seven. He can bank or cut it thin. He attempts to cut it thin and hits it perfect with decent shape on the eight. He rattles the eight and leavesRodney an out.
