Mosconi updates

Game one.

Ok I came in a little late, but it looks like Rodney came out and made a good run with an eight nine breakout for the run to lead 1-0.
 
Game two Rodney versus Drago.

Morris breaking rack two. Comes up dry an ddrago is at the table.

Dargo plays a well controlled safety and makes it difficult to hit the ball let alone a kick safe. Rodney makes a good hit and might have gotten it safe if he hadn't scratched in the side.

Drago plays a kick safe after getting bad shape. Rodney makes a good jump shot and almost makes the ball but he does leave it very bad.

Drago plays another safe on the two leaving it behind the six.

It was a good kick safe but all balls after contact fail to contact a rail and Drago gets BIH. He fails to get shape and is forced to play safe. Rodney gets the hit but leaves it open and Drago plays another safe.

Rodney kicks at the ball and hits it but leaves it hittable. Drago tries to bank it and misses but leaves a difficult shot with good timing.

Rodney attempts a safe and leaves it on the far rail but hittable.

Rodney comments that he would've gotten it by now but every time he comes to the table he doesn't get a shot. Drago combos and gets shape on the three and then it becomes a pretty standard runout and Drago ties it 1-1.
 
Game 3 R vs. D

Drago breaks well and while playing a good safe another ball goes in and he has to play his own safety. He plays a good kick safe and leaves it tough for Rodney. Rodney plays it safe. Drago returns the favor with a kick safe that isn't quite hidden. Rodney plays a bank safe and Drago kicks the one and leaves it open.

Rodney makes the two and has an open rack to runout and take the lead again 2-1.
 
I had actually left for a little while and missed a game.

When I came back back it was three to 1. Morris made a mistake in game five and left it open to Drago. Tony rattles the nine and Rodney takes it to 4-1.
