Most balls made on the break

I've made 6 playing 9 ball on a 9'(and didn't have a shot with the 9 still up) while gambling and in our league year end made 7 playing 8 ball on a bar box, completing a 10-5 run out because I had no shots on the 2 remaining stripes after the break.

I was in with Joey Torma, he was playing a bar pool player named Jimmy
Ellis at Times Square Pool Room in Dallas back in the 70's. Joey was giving
him the last two and the break. Jimmy was on the hill and broke every ball
in but the 9. It took us a minute to realize we lost on the break. He broke
in the last two. Never seen anything close since.

I made 7 balls on the 9-Ball break once in Odessa,Texas in 1979 or 1980 at a pool hall called the Ace-Ball, and was hooked on the ball before the 9.....


have made 5-6 balls several times.

It seems every hard breaker I know has made five or six. I might of seen a seven once, can't remember clearly. I know I made a six once and it seemed four balls went in real quick, than some lucky caroms made the other two.

Never seen eight, though I believe it has been done.

Will never believe all nine went in until I see a video of it that obviously isn't fake.

I'd guess five or six is the most I've ever seen at eight ball so ten is a pretty good break lol.

I made 7 balls playing on a 7' Valley. The balls on the table after the break were the cue ball, 2 ball, and 7 ball. Witnessed by Dallas Benjamin while playing sets for $50.
