Most boring / exciting players to watch

I know it's been discussed before but...

1. Which player is the absolute most boring player for you to watch. One that makes you want to put a bullitt in your head? Skill level doesn't matter.

2. Which player is the most Exciting / enjoyable to watch


Here are my picks...
Most boring: Karen Coor
Most Exciting: Earl
 
Boring: Varner, Mike Defino, Arturo Rivera, anyone that shoots slow...

Exciting: Efren, John Schmidt, Rafael Martinez (when he's in gear), Earl Strickland (back in the day), Keith McCready

Personally, I prefer the faster, more aggresive style of play.

I agree, the faster play makes it much more enjoyable. Maybe that's the key to making pool more appealing to the general viewing public. Put a 10 second shot clock on everything?

They tried the speed pool thing, it was awful to watch...

But I agree that aggresive players are more fun to watch... As long as they still make good decisions...;)

I don't want speed pool either. Just a normal pace like Rodney Morris, SVB, John Schmidt. They all seem to shoot with a realatively steady pace, 10-15 seconds is plenty for these players.
 
Delicious seems to be a popular candidate for most boring. It is painful waiting for him to shoot, but with all his motions and gyrations and crazy movements it's kind of entertaining if you're not in a hurry to be somewhere.

It's funny for about 3 games. Then you wanna throw water at him.
 
Boring: WPBA (except Ga Young Kim), for the past 5 years Johnny Archer, Ralf Souquet, I'm sure there are 500 others that I can't think of right now.
 
Restricting the subect to those that still compete:

Most boring is Jeremy Jones

Most exciting is Efren Reyes

Speaking of the WPBA, why are these women so stone faced, drop-dead serious? All it takes is a little smile once and a while or a little comment to the crowd, a joke, a whistle, anything. Come on it's not a funeral!

?! You crazy? His 3 fights with Micky Ward were exciting as hell! And his 1 punch KO of Gabriel Ruelas!...oops wrong Arturo, sorry :D :D :D
 
That's why Vivian V. is tolerable. But seeing Corr and Helena's serious mugs are zzzzzzzz
 
Completely in the minority hear....but...

I kind of like watching the slow players...assuming I don't have to be somewhere in a hurry...guys like Basavich and Archer (sometimes) take so long to make a shot that I start sweating it right along with them...next thing I know, I'm nervous and thinking they're going to dog it even if the ball is sitting in the pocket!

Admittedly, they usually don't, but for some reason I just keep on thinking it!

Sometimes I think their slow play can add a little suspense to the game, even if it's a no brainer out ;)

No kidding about Arturo Jesu Cristo.
The man has beautiful patterns when he's on.
But, Jesus Christ died and came back from the dead faster than Arturo finishes a set sometimes ( no offense to Christians ).


Kid Delicious is really a nice guy. I know. But, I saw him against Bustamante at the Bike. I swear Busta wanted to hit him with a stick after the match.
The people around were laughing at Danny. He powdered, drank water and wiped off his sweat so many times, it was not funny.
