Most Under Priced Cue

I have one special Players cue that hits exactly like my customs or my Jacoby's do. I paid $71.00 for it new about 5 years ago. Only change I made was to install a Moori medium tip (one of the old, good ones) on it. I don't know if I just got lucky or what, but this cue hits like a dream (imo). If I didn't have so many good cues, I would shoot with this cue more often.

I won't even touch the other thread the OP started concerning "over-priced cues".

Maniac (pi$$ed-off enough people already this week :sorry:)

Dale Perry's cues are under priced, so much so, it's seems too good to be true. Also, most cheap import cues, Players, Dufferin, Action, etc. play amazingly well for the price.

Carolina Custom...as good as any custom I've ever played with (and I've played/tried most except Showman, Tascarella and some of the newer ones that have come out in the past 5 years)...plus they put in more bling for the $ than anybody.

Really, Mike Webb and Rick Howard underpriced?

I guess everyone has a right to their opinion.

I should probably just put a few names on here of those cues I like to play with, but I won't.

Myabe I should redefine my idea of underpriced.

most underpiced
southwest...
if you can wait 10 years thinking of the time cost of money
they have to win the prize:eek::rolleyes:

The last statement you made is the most correct. If you factor in build quality, and playability vs what else is out there, then those two are definitely towards the top.

Why spend $3200 or more for a SW when you can get a fantastic playing cue from Rick for under $1000.

...................................................................

these type of smart ass remarks are why many people don't get on AZ anymore. After owning over 300 cues and playing with tons more, I am plenty qualified to give an intelligent answer to the OP's question without ridicule from some idiot like you

Stroker PJ from Mueller's. On sale for $18. Way better than you would think. Not at all like a cue you would buy from Target, Dick's, et al. It is actually fun to play with.

This is the very point I was trying to make on the "Most Over-rated Cue" thread, but many just didn't get it.

And......not just a Rick Howard cue, but many other custom cuemakers make a cue that plays as fantastic as a SW for under $1,000.

I know. I have played with many cues that were as good or better than what many people think are the nuts. Not saying I didn't enjoy the Searing's, Tasc's, SW, Mottey's, Scruggs, etc but I don't believe in spending 4 times as much money on something so i can be part of a club or because of it's name. After all the experimenting, now i just look for the most for my money. I can make balls with anything, but just like anyone else, I have a certain type hit I like

What's the best ...?

What is your deal with all the 'what's the best'/ 'what's the worst' questions?

One with a little common sense would understand that there is no 'best', once there are choices established.

What's the best car? What's the best food? What's the best shoe...?

WTF?! There is no prize for starting the most threads.
