Hi,

Here is a sneak preview of a custom cue butt sleeve inlay with a twist.

Jay wanted a Franciscan Cross with a special feature that I could not create very well on the CNC.

My partner Kenny the Cue Artist came to the rescue in very good form.

The Rossschinder Cue is the next to the finish booth in a batch I am working on and I can't wait to get this bad boy in Jays hands and see this feature under the clear coat.

Better be careful no one mistakes that for a "TS" cue... LOL! :D

Looks pretty cool! good job!:thumbup:

Wow ! just Wow !

Rick,

We spoke quite a few times about this particular part of the cue. The, "can we",..... "what if",......"should we",..... "how about" were all put to rest by Kenny.
Can't wait to have this cue in my hands and play this cue !

Kenny ,

You did a great job with the rope. I am verrrrrrrry pleased with how it came out. :clapping::clapping:
It is Amazing what you can do from just a pencil sketch! Even more surprising is how small that work is.
Kudos to you Sir,

Very nice work, Rick and Kenny. I was wondering what that was and now I know its a rope.

What is the significance of the three knots, if any?

Hi Blue Hog,

The three knots represent Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, the three cornerstones of the Franciscan Order.

Rope

Hog,

I guess others want to know as well, so I'll explain some of it here.

The rope is symbolic.
the "T" shaped object is a Franciscan cross. ( A med-evil artifact with a religious meaning) Didn't start out that way but the object was so essential to life in med-evil times it was deified. The rope represented eterntiy, and the knots each had a meaning upon the road of life. The knots had sort of like a Faith, Duty,Honor. meaning to them.
Virtually everything on this cue is symbolic. Thanks for asking.

Rick's interpretation is more accurate, I couldn't remember their exact meaning off the top of (my scatter-brain) head, lol

dunn, one thing for sure....you will never walk into a pool room and not get a lot of attention wit that cue....very one of a kind coolness...

Rick nice work

I look at this cue and I think this cue is a great looking stick. I love cues that have a story behind them. I have loved to hear a cue owner talk about the story of how he came to design the cue. Rick I think that you did a great job with this cue. I know the owner is going to tell his story about his cue for many years to come.

Ziggylee
