Murnak!
Yep I have posted many times how much I like mine. Now that I think about it not only is it a great case but Jim does not get involved in the constant over the top self promotion plus it is made in the USA. I am liking it even more than before. Mine has been beaten and still does the job and it was one of his first prototype cases so the newer ones are probably even better!

Jim makes the absolute BEST case on the market, by ANY measurement, bar none.
And like the VAST MAJORITY of people, I too find the self-promoting import king with the apparent Napoleon complex quite annoying.

Jim was a pleasure to deal with, we worked out a design I was interested in and the workmanship was flawless.
The cases are of great quality and the leathers are exceptional.
I can see why that most owners will not be willing to part with their case unless some unusual circumstance comes along.
I own a 3X6 that Jim put a Kanji Symbol on the lid for me.
The tubes in mine were cut about 1-1/2 inches below the top so I can grab any of the cues with the lid open...Great way to go!
The case is used as my carry case and I love the combination of pockets to carry all the things we enjoy carrying.

Murnak's are awesome. I have a soft sided 3x6 that is plain, but I love it. I do have another case on order that I can't wait to see though.

i whould never ever get rid of mine.
these cases take a beaten and still look good!
it's my everyday case and i use it all year long.

They are worth the wait...and their weight in gold. Murnak Rocks !
I have seen a lot of his cases in NYC .
I like the butterfly cases .
I saw the one Gniky has with the sharks on it..
but i have to see if i find one for a good price..

Nothing has been spoken that is not simply the truth.
I have been using my Murnak 3x6 for 4-5 years now. I carry it everywhere, and I simply throw it in the trunk...no special care taken with it. It has held up beautifully. It was masterfully hand-crafted here in the USA, and built to last a life-time. It will certainly out-last me.

As a case maker I find Jim's creativity inspiring. I have dissected my Murnak case and find it to be well made on many aspects that I consider to be important in a cue case.
And Jim himself is a very nice person whom I am glad to call a colleague. I find it very good that he is stepping outside of case making to promote pool on other levels with his www.go4pool.com website and weekly shows.
Jim has been a breath of fresh air in cue case design and I have enjoyed being able to see all the great work he puts out.

I'm no photog, but I'll try to get some pics of my Murnak & post them. I need to take some pics of my old Instroke LTD from the Barton/Collins era, too. It's a one of a kind.

Not ordering that Vintage case when you first came to the forum. In fact, I need a case now. I was looking at the website trying to get some ideas. Need at least a 3/6 case.
