The best I can tell you is this as stated in the ad at Cue2u:

"Adam by Musashi High-end cue made in Japan in 2000" a quote by Bruce Venzke.

I obtained the cue from Bruce Venzke along with the majority of his cue collection as he is now retired from "the game" and writes crossword puzzles professionally (watch the puzzles your local paper). Mr. Venzke, from Madison WI, used to write a column in the National Billiard News and later the "From the Bleachers" column in Pool & Billiard Magazine. He received the cue on a trip to Japan from the manufacturer in exchange for a pool and trick shot exhibition.

I am sure many AZer's are familiar with Mr. Venzke and would testify to his character and credibility.

You know what I know. I am not an expert and do not pretend to be.

The cue was manufactured around 2000 and all four shafts came with it at that time. I hope that is helpful.
