Yes, Some parts of them are similar.
In fact, the process of making my cue is very much influenced by you.
I have read many of your posts in the azbilliards.
Your posts have influenced me a lot.
I really feel very grateful.
I really like your work, I think their craft level is very good.
So at the beginning of this thought I also want to try to make it once.
Try to make it with this technique.
I have tried to avoid your style. But your style is too strong.
So the part of point is inevitably similar.
And you have made a lot of cues, and I can't have seen them all.
The types of inlays are always those.
So formed a partial similarity.

I can't judge your abilities as a builder but your design is more than merely "similar". imo Pete was being most gracious in his comments.

The process I made did have references to pete's cue.
I referenced many of his posts during my study.
I don't think he minds letting others learn, so he published a lot of posts.
What I want to explain is about inlay, I don't mean to imitate it.
I just picked what I think is appropriate.
But Pete has a lot of works.
I didn't expect to be similar to the inlay of one of the cues.
This is an accident, I will pay more attention in the future.
