Lol. I like the middle one best. I still feel Schon's are by far the best quality in construction and playability from any production cue. They are probably even semi-custom considering the craftsmanship by hand that must go into each one.

Don't knock em, you did good!

Yally

p.s. really liking the Stinger!

Thanks bud...the middle one is my playing cue w/ lizard wrap done by mr Mike Webb :)....I'm really glad that you really like the Stinger...please make sure don't break the ball in half ok lol....hey bud when are you going to Toronto to play some pool...every monday there's a tournament here at Shooters :)

Jun :)

PS. your justis case is looks awesome...im sure you won't regret to have that case :)

Humble is good, but those are certainly cues to be proud of. #1 those are really nice, excellent playing cues (the best constructed production cues ever made IMO) and #2 if you really think about it, any one of them is nicer than well over half of the pool players anywhere will ever own. You have a reason to be proud.....those are great cues.

Nothing wrong with Schon my friend. They have earned their place in my stable next to my Scruggs and Diveney customs. I have used them since 1990 and have loved every one I have owned/own.

I think you're dog is the cutest of the bunch ..

I used to own a Runde era Schon SR7 - I think your cue on the left is the same design .... kind of wild design and very well hitting cue.

I am wondering if it's worth it to buy a Schon to replace my 5k2... I'm just too curious...
...I've been searching this forum for Schon related topics and I'm glad that I've found this one.
As for your cues, Jun, I will hardly be able to afford a Schon half as intricate as yours are so... I think that you should be very proud of your cues!

chuckpilegis: I like your Schons too... and I like those Carolinas too - if I'm not mistaken about the two cues at the bottom...

Could any of you say something concrete to me about your Schon's construction, craftsmanship, hit, etc? I would honestly appreciate it!

Thank you in advance,
Pooh

Nice cues. I have a friend that has the one you play with. I've had a couple of schons over the years and now wish I had kept them. Oh well.

Again, nice cues.....

Thank you for the compliment ...i like schon specially the hit of the regular shaft but i'm a predator shaft guy...a little bit stiff but its alright...i like the thin butt compare to thick butt...the STL18 from the right is F/S if you are interested give me a PM and your offer....:) ...im sure you can't go wrong w/ schon cues

Thank you...i think i will keep my playing schon...is like a sentimental for me...not because of the $$$ value....even i will get my first custom cue from a great cue maker i will still keep my schon :) ....its about the feel for your cues i guess.....some people prepared custom cues or productions cues...

Jun :)

Thank you for the offer on the STL-18 but I'll have to sell my current cue first locally... and even after that I'll have only at around 500 bucks to spend on my new cue...

As for the shaft choice: I have a 5k2 Predator with a 314(2) shaft and eventhough I love it and I think that it is one of the very best hitting cues that I have ever played with (I haven't played with many though as my country is poor in unique pool cues, you will hardly ever find a custom cue here... if anyone has at around 1.2-1.5k dollars to spend on a cue they'll rather spend it on pred. LE-s instead of getting something truly valuable).

So like I said I love my cue's hit but I am just simply looking for something different. That's why I won't get a Pred./Ob-1/Universal shaft for my Schon.
Have any of you tried the Schon IV shaft? I'm thinking about getting my new Schon with that one instead of the regular shaft... it is only 40 bucks more expensive.

Pooh

P.S.: good luck with the sale, that is one of the nices Schons in my opinion!

P.S. 2: is that a 5k2 on the left of your case? :-)))
