Turning 53 on the 7th. My wife and kids are giving me the opportunity to go anywhere and play pool or whatever for a week. Also gonna bring a little $$$ to donate...Guilt free gambling. The thing is I could go literally anywhere a plane can land that has a pool table. I cannot make up my mind, I thought maybe the Phillipines then I thought and thought and thought...Still cannot make up my mind. Where would you go?

Bangkok!

Great pool scene...........and other fun activities when you tire of the tables.......

If you've never been to the SBE its a no brainer. April 4-7 Edison NJ All the action you want, and I bet if you go once you'll go again!

Yeah afraid so.

Don't let them see that reply.

I think you are a lucky man or they just want you out of town for some reason.

I can't decide where I'd go if had such a gift.

Think about it til you get it right. Maybe the Philippines for the day with a week in Hawaii.

Whatever you decide, have a good safe trip.

Best Wishes to You &

I would look at one of two options:

1. A major tournament loaded with top pros
2. The PI

If you can get both in the same trip, do it!
I'd certainly look at SBE.

Definitely Bangkok for me. Lots of places to play and good players and there's always a game. There's a nice little pool community with great people from all over the world. I spent two months there last year and wish I could have stayed longer

That would be fun...but for a week?

If you play the Wednesday warm up then its 5 days and keep in mind your about 30-45mins from NYC as well as on top of Sandcastle billiards. If you want 5 days of Pool, pool, and pool, this is the expo to go to. Every big cue dealer in the country will be there, as well as most of the big name cue makers, most of the top male pro's, and enough amateurs (that play A speed) to keep the action flowing literally all night long. You will feel like a kid in a candy store.

Happy birthday, CB.
Man, is this your lucky day. I just got off the phone with my ex-brother-in-law, Herb Johnson, and he told me that for a paltry $850 he could get you a two and a half day stay at the County Line Motor Inn, located in beautiful downtown Slagel, Missouri (only twenty minutes from Branson), where they are holding their annual Billiards, Bikers, and Babes Festival. This is the second year in a row for this grand spectacle, and according to it's sponsors, the Optimists Club of Slagle, it should be a hoot for everyone involved unless, of course, it rains.
He also said that for an extra ten bucks he can get you a seat next to this years Queen, the lovely and gracious Sarasota, who happens, by-the-way, to be my neice (see enclosed photo). Let me know by this time Friday. :)

Looking for some cues, the cuemakers sell cues at the expo?

They sure do. Check out the expos website and see who's attending. If there's any particular makers your really interested in you might be able to contact them before the show and see what they will have with them. Some of them sell out quickly, some do not.

Guess that was a dumb question. Checked this out and it looks cool. All the ameneties and no STDs or divorce procedings. Ladies and gentlemen we have a front runner.
