My first Leather Cue Case

Hi,

after several weeks of trying, carving, dyeing, lacing and sewing my first Leather Cue Case was finished. I hope you like it.
In my opinion its not bad for the first try, as I started working with leather a few months ago. I stitched exactly 1860 sewing holes and 320 holes for lacing and the rivets and after a while I stopped counting the hours this work needed.

Case

That's cool for a first case. You, obviously, did a lot of planning before making it.

I keep having this vision of a cue case shaped like a guitar.

Very nice job! You did a great job with the dye. The red looks very intense. Nice job with the pockets also. Everything looks tight and even. Nice balance with the tooling work as well. Great stitching work. You've got a little bit of everything on this case. Looking forward to seeing your next project!

Excellent first case. I wish my first was as nice as this one. I will echo Rex's words and say that it's intense. I bet the pictures don't convey the color as vibrant as it is in real life.

That dragon looks awesome as does the rest of the case, you have the laceing part downpat also. I'll have to give this case a 10 out of 10 on looks and the interior looks strong enough for a major cue.--Leonard

Yes, in the beginning it was a lot of trying but when you do something the first time having no teacher you cannot avoid it. But these mistakes you'll never forget
And also yes, the red colour is in reality very strong and shiny.
If someone wants me to make his own custom case....let's get in contact.
