Not according to the 2 guys I sell cues to in asia, they both have Barry cue's like this and they've never been shot with, and according to them they never will,

But I agree with you, it looks like it was built to run racks.

Yes, why buy a cue and not use it. Kam's cues are treated well and are played with as well. I've played all Kam's cues.

Investment? They're in the wrong industry.

Nice looking cue (sans the orange background) by the way and I bet it also plays good.
 
I supposed when one of the masters makes a museum piece of all ivory with diamond inlays and an unobtainium joint that wasn't created with playability in mind, it probably makes a good safe queen. But a cue like this cries to be played.

Love the windows in the sleeve. Have always loved windows. Enjoy!
 
Great cue, enjoy....getting your first Szam is a special experience. That's always been one of my favorite veneer combos....wish I had one with those colors.
 
Actually...

Actually, if pool is your religion like most here, it is a sin!
You will spend eternity in a very bad place if you dont play with your cues.

Its not going to decrease the value of the cue, and you know what you cannot take them with you AND they really are only on loan to you for a while, after you they will go on to others!
