My Guerra Cue

Guys, I commissioned Tony to make me this cue here....http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=271008

I was pretty open and just gave him a basic idea about what I wanted and MAN did he deliver!!! I wanted a slightly slimmer butt and he nailed it....It has perhaps one of the BEST leather wraps I have seen. Tony, made a nice joint cap for the butt, and a little "surprise" was included.....Which I like the BEST:D

The bowling wood shafts are insane. If you like pretty white clear shafts then these ARE NOT for you.....I happen to like old, dense dark shafts, that actually play good, and that's what these are.....The taper on the shafts was more thick than I normally plays with but not parking cone thick.....I can definitely see adjusting to them would be quick.

Overall the fit and finish is top notch as well. The personalized velour sleeve is a nice touch as well. The finish shines, the ringwork is perfect and you can tell that the cue was put together well....There is not anything done that did not have its time taken to do.....

The tips were even cut down:D

I HIGHLY recommend you guys call Tony and get one of these cues will his prices are down, because when people start getting these things and see the execution and attention to detail he will start charging Ernie prices:D

Thanks Tony for getting me the cue BEFORE the promised time, and not taking a deposit:thumbup: That might have to change when you get famous

I'll second that! I bought a completed tulipwood cue he had for sale here a while ago. The leather wrap on mine is flawless, and the entire cue feels fantastic. The hit is amazing and solid! He did a fantastic job on it, it is easily my finest cue.

I even had him do a thread protector for my shaft, which also turned out beautiful. I don't have a single complaint about the cue or dealing with Tony.

I know I promised to do a review Tony, I'm sorry :) As soon as the cue came in, my girlfriend became smitten and I haven't had it at home for pictures ever since!
 
Tony made me a cue. It was perfect! His finish and wood quality is as good as it gets. The cue plays great. Their isn't a single thing he should change.
