My Husband

Thank you for letting us know. Please let John know we express our best wishes for him. I'm sure his parents were proud to have such a kind and loving son.

My husband, Rude Dog, as many of you know him, received the worst possible news today. His mother, who is a wonderful woman and a very big part of his life, passed away today. She just had surgery for a broken hip last week and was moved to an assisted living home until she gained her strength back. John is not taking it well and he asked me to let his friends on here know because this is where he spends most of his time, in this forum. He lost his father last year, and 2 uncles, in a 3 month period of time. Although we all know that we have to lose our parents eventually, we're never prepared for it when it happens. Thank you all for being there for us in the past with your kindness and your concern for my health, as well as his. Please say a prayer for his mother, Serena, and for John. Thank you.

I'm very sorry to hear this John. Life can really hurt sometimes. All we can do is pick up the pieces and move on with our lives. You'll always have memories of you Mother and Father, at least that can't be taken away.

I lost my Mother a few years back, three days after a hip replacement surgery. It was a very difficult time for me, I hurt inside long after she passed. It will ease in time. Best to you and family. May your Mother, Serena, rest in peace.

My Friend John

I am sorry about your loss. Susan and I have you and your family in our prayers. I am also proud of our little AZ family here. These folks really do care and support us.
God Bless, Don P.

John, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother. I lost my mother almost 10 years ago, right after I moved to Seattle, stroke/aneurysm. My sincere condolences to your family.

Hey Dog. I know that you know that I know since you kindly PM'd me about the loss of my sister. It has broken me up so much that it is only pool and my love ones that can bring me out of that insanity that great loss causes. What is this thing that unconditional love that moves one so? Not me having that capacity but the capacity that someone has for "me". Nothing like that can come like it does from your Mom.
Your post did give me some comfort and I hope that these kind words from fellow posters can accompany you in your hours of grief. We stand with you.

I don't post very often, but my heart goes out to you and your family. Please try to hang in there. the clouds will eventually
start to clear, i know it dosn't look that way now but things will
get better. DON'T EVER GIVE UP!!

Respectfully,
Barry Doc

Thank you

Everyone here is just great, we always come together for whoever is in need and I thank you all for your nice words. My mom is with my dad now and I can guarantee you what he told her, "What the hell took you so long?" They were married for 41 years and never had more than 1 day apart the whole time. I've got 2 brothers up there with them so they've still got their hands full. Again, thank you so much, all of you here on this forum, whether you replied or not. Peace to all! John.

John,

Our condolences on your loss. I know it is tough but hang in there.
