I would have to say that is a great pick up "S"ir, and a "S"uper nice looking cue. Congrats!

Thank you for sharing

Searing

Nice Cue Bob ! Definitely need a BIGGER picture of the (S), I almost missed it.

Best Part

Having held and hit with a few Searing cues in the past the one thing that has always stood out to me are the way the shafts fit into the piloted joint. The tolerance is so tight that it is hard to describe the "squeeze" as the wood of the shaft insert presses into the piloted joint.

I am patiently waiting (not really) and can't wait to see what is in store when i finally get the call that my Searing is ready.

I love that this cue is housing a sweet SS 1/2 joint. Congrats on a great pick up.

Terrific 'S' Hoppe pickup
The stainless half joint looks great as well
I would just like to take one shot with it.

Thanks guys the shafts fit so tight that when breaking down the cue i need to use a rubber cloth to get it apart. BTW it has 4 shafts.

A classic design with that special half joint...
Does not get any better.
Looking forward to the larger pictures.

Searing

Better pics but my computer recently went down and my programs are acting up.Hope you like them. Scroll to right to see the butt. Just lint on the half joint.

Hello Mr. Roberts,

Very delightful cue....I think the Ivory diamonds and dots are simply lovely.

I understand your deep passion for Searing Cues....

Until that time,

Big Daddy

Is the joint steel or brass? The one photo looks like it has a gold tinge.Seems like most half joints like the one you have play outstanding.I know a guy who has a JerryR with a half steel joint and it plays great.Takecare

Hey Bob, how have you been? Very nice cue. tiny little ring next to the wrap:cool: awesome.

The diamond inlay looks tight....real tight

The joint looks nice, maybe perfect. I love the center drill in the end, very handy for throwing on the lathe later.

The wrap looks super and very grippy:).

Four shafts?...Bob your a lucky man!

Nice, thanks for the pics.

Thanks for sharing the pics...it's a treasure to see searings cues that have not been posted before.

What year was this beauty made?

I love it.

Ssssswwweeeeetttttttttttttttt

Very nice Bob, very nice. Your pictures truly don't do the cue justice, but we get the idea.
Enjoy it in good health,
Dan Z

Thanks for all the compliments but it was Dennis that made the cue perfect. We talked about what he was going to do and decided on simple but classy.
This cue was a PJ that Dennis took to the next level. You could never tell that this was not the way it was built originally. After it was re- built the new shafts were so deflection free. Took a little while to get used to but it is a great stick with perfect balance..
Unfortunately it has not gotten the play it deserves due too some personal issues but hopefully in the near future it will.

BTW the joint is S/S.

I'm a HUGE fan of "all brown" cues! This one is a great example...nothing over-the-top...but rather "simple elegance"!!!

Jason

(Not saying this is a "simple" cue... :embarrassed2:)
