Backgrounder:
An EPT friend (Macky Ochoa) was selling this cue and I bought it. I didn't like it at first as it had a 12mm tip, was heavy at 19.4oz and back balanced at 18.25". I took out the bumper and can see that there is a weightbolt. Took it out and the cue went down in weight to 18.40oz. It feels much better after that small thinkering. After a couple more racks, I'm still not satisfied with the soft whimpy hit. The shaft vibrates like crazy when english is applied. I then got my Albrecht shaft, lou and behold, this baby can hit better. So, this thing knows how to shoot finally. I then contacted Linds to have this baby resurrected. So, off I go on one of my trips to Manila and I handed it back to Linds to have undergo a major surgery. Here it looks now after that major operation.
Look at the stunning BEM Forearm...
That tight grained Rosewood Handle...

Woods:
The BEM has those tinny-winny eyes and are well spread. It's totally different from other BEM that I've seen and I love it. The grains on the Rosewood is tight and well defined. This is a thing of beauty and the very reason why I took this cue in the first place.
Playability:
As stated above, the original way this cue hits' was not to my liking. It was whimpy, soft with that long filipino taper that starts at 12mm. A few modifications (took the weightbolt out) and a brand new shaft (Bowling Alley special) make this baby hit the way I like it. Solid, firm and crisp with a nice tong(higher pitch) sound that is pleasing to hear. The feedback is amazing. I attribute that to the way this cue in constructed and the tight-grained Rosewood handle. I have been shooting with this cue for 2 weeks now and I know how this cue plays.
Lastly, my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Linds for doing the much needed modifications to this cue. Thank you very much Linds.
