It is kind of fun seeing what other people pick as their favorite playing cue. With all the different cues out there, it just comes down to personal preference, regardless of design, or price, or reputation.

I have been playing with this Mike Morgan, and my crummy play has jumped up by 20% with this cue. Mike is right here on Long Island, and only makes about 15 cues a year. I had him make me this one, and I just cant play with anything else. Check it out and tell me what you think

Chris, how are you my friend. When we were playing I believe Mike had the cue and was putting a new elephant ear wrap on it. Which he does an incredible job on.

We both know YOU are the better player...but I did apreciate you letting me win a few games....LOL

Awesome looking cue Steve! I love the buttsleeve, very simple and classy! Bet it plays great.

I really like Mike Miller's clean old school meets new school designs. You have a really nice cue there, from a super nice guy.

Simple inlay design, nice veneer colour combination and good wood selection for a typical player.

thanks to all, your comments are great. Mike makes a fantastic looking and unbelievably great playing cue. Too bad he makes so few every year. If anyone is looking for an incredible player........give Mike Morgan a ring...you wont be dissapointed

Hey Steve,

Where in Long Island is Mike Morgan situated? I ask because I am originally from the island (currently in New Jersey finishing up school) and I never knew of many cuemakes from Long Island. I only ever knew of Pete Tascarella being from around there.

Lol Steve :)
did u ever uploaded pictures of a *bad player* ? Sure not :p

And *your* player is lookin great! I love that old-style- would love to hold in my hands...

Very nice Steve, thanks for sharing. If you don't mine I am curious what you think it is about this cue that sets it apart from your other cues regarding the playability.

Thanks for sharing and great pictures.

Mike has been here his whole life. He works out of his basemnt shop and doesnt have a website. He stays very low key. If you want a fabulous player at a very reasonable price give him a call at 516 455 1499

Don, you know that feeling that you get when you have a certain cue in your hands, and you feel like you just cant miss. I really dont know how to describe it other than that. Its the tip, the feel of the shaft, the weight, the diameter of the handle...and on and on

But I have played with so many that just dont give me that inner feeling of "this cue is perfect for me" It makes me feel so much more confidant when playing.

I have had that same feeling with my first Palmer which I used for 16 years, then again with a Scruggs box cue, and once more with a BB spider. But since I picked up this Mike Morgan, the others are back in the case.....LOL

No more talking about my box cue!

Mr Steve,
Red, White and Blue! Gotta love that. Congrats on finding your latest player. You bring the best out of every cue builder.
Considering most of your cues are not players, this has to be a very special part of your collection! The old school pattern really goes well with those sweet veneer colors.
Congrats again,
Nick :)

thats a great cue steve, kinda has a Bushka feel to it, speaking for myself I'd love it as a player if the points didnt have the inlay work. I'm a minimalist when it comes to players.

Also you havent been posting as many pics lately and that SUCKS!!!! Seriously I too love looking at your cues, I dont have to own a cue to enjoy it. Even if its pics of a cue we have seen its still nice to see them. So please keep posting pics, your photography is getting better and better.
