My new Anniversary; A real barn find!!!

Very nice, when I got my Anniversary we had to replace the skirts, went with
solid maple looks ok but would have been nice if the originals had been usable.
Love the way the table plays.

Beautiful table. I play on a 1905 Brunswick (BB&C) that I bought from a little pool room in Indiana and then stored 15 years until I had a place to restore and set it up.

And regarding Daisy Red Ryders, I found mine last month in my parents' basement. Thought it was long gone and now it stands proudly next to my grandfathers Winchester model 12 that dates to 1925.

My favorite Brunswick model.
..consider getting a Diamond-type light shade with Anniversary styling.
That table deserves it.

That is one of the nicest looking man-made objects of any kind that I have ever seen anywhere. You sir own the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California convertible of the pool world.

May it serve you long and well, and may your children and their children cherish and enjoy it into the next century.

That Luther, was amazing insight, as well as an appropriate analogy, and the exact reason I purchased it while it was available.! I truly feel more like a caretaker of this time capsule of history, than I do an actual owner. It's astounding that this table made if through it's long life without so much as a ding or a scratch.

If they had a Bloomington Gold classification for tables, I can't imagine one placing any higher. And you're correct. I've given my daughter explicit instructions to never sell it. When I'm long gone, it's my hope that if I ever am blessed with grandchildren, that it stay in the family for generations and also remain purely unmolested. They're only original once. Someday when my funds return after all the expense of moving and buying this table, I may try to source NOS pockets. In the meantime, I like the leather replacement pockets. Like they say at Jackson or Mecum, no harm, no foul. The original wheels are in the trunk; just a bolt on adjustment for the numbers matching crowd.

Thank you so much for your astute compliment.

will you be using the newer duramith pro tournament ball set

I'm sure they're terrific balls, but I never saw a new Anniversary installed in the 60's with anything but Centennials. I guess I'm just a traditionalist. It just wouldn't be the same. I did, however, opt to add a Measles ball.

By the same token, I just gotta go with green cloth and blue chalk. I think that's the way it was intended.:) We've all got our own preferences, but I'd consider it sacrilegious to put, just for example, burgundy cloth, on a piece of history like this.

I guess my love for the Centennials is just part of the mystic held over from my youth and I'll always associate them with an older Brunswick.

I get what you're saying!
I just bought a 63 Chevy C10 short stepside with a big back window. I will modernize it to some degree, but I'll keep it a traditional color.
I wish the 10-foot Anniversary pool table I found was as nice as yours, but it is pretty amazing (and for $1,250 I won't complain). Eventually it will sit next to a GC1 10-foot snooker table. Once they're set up, I may officially become a hermit.
Congrats!

awesome table! i hope to get something like that one day. Might be awhile before i have the money for something as perfect as that.

Couldn't have said it better beautiful table

That is one beautiful table. Congrats and enjoy. Too bad the way they chop up houses these days into smaller rooms (at least mine), I will have to add a room to house my dream 9 footer...walls in the way is unacceptable to me...no short cues allowed. :)

Hit 'em straight. Peace.

I have an equally beautiful Anniversary for sale in SoCal if anyone is interested. Comes with a set of Centennial balls as well. I need to make room in my garage for a classic car I bought. 1966 Dodge Dart GT with 57,000 original miles. Bought it from the first owner, an 82 year old Japanese-American lady. God bless her!
