My New Business

I don't understand the MM biz. Basically I'm totally clueless on this. I thought it was gov't run and sold. I think others here may be a bit hazy on this field and your biz model.

Really, he said that with all the violence, and illegal gambling surrounding pool (whether it be true or not) would not help their cause. Unfortunatly after hearing this, I couldn't help but to understand their reluctance to get involved with pool. I nearly agreed with him. I thought that I might do more bad for hemp than good.

They know other kids who try it and before long they experiment themselves. They can plainly see it's not the "evil weed" that "big brother" has been claiming. Now we tell them to stay off of cocaine, herion, meth because it's evil, addicting etc... How can we expect them to believe us when they know we've been lying to them about marijuana??? You've got to be real!

I'm almost positive that Dave made a typo in the last sentence of is post....as it was more than likely supposed to question how medical marijuana helps people *play pool*.

I could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted the post. I guess we'll know better when Dave logs in next. :)

I've never tried, but I don't think pot could help me play better. I don't even drink when practicing as I want as clear of a head as I can attain to play, or do anything that requires a lot of focus.

I remember when I was a corporate cook years ago and was on the edge of insanity where I decided that it would be a good idea to do that. When I came back I was a blithering idiot looking at about 6 dozen orders like it was in a different language. The GM finally came out of the office, smelled the telltale smell and opened the cooler. A cloud came out like they just opened Pandora's Box. They asked all the cooks (all of them were stoned) and then they got to me. I said yes it was me and that I was the only one in there despite the further interrogation. I was sent home and I was ecstatic as I had the munchies.

Lesson learned: Never use mind altering substances when your focus is of the utmost importance.

To compare how I was to normal is to say that someone could read me off various orders verbally. I could memorize up to 200 plates of food verbally as far as how the steak was cooked, what type of steak, a sandwich with no onions etc etc etc and I kept it all in order in my head as I worked.
 
Marketing our sport combined with illegal drugs is not a way to move this game forward.
