Well, I could not sleep last night so I worked through the night and finally finished my new playing cue, and man this thing hits as good as it looks.

Here is the other information about this cue.

oak and ebony? how did you keep the weight down, i'd like to know more

The cue is cored from the front of the handle through the cues butt. This is how I adjusted balance and the cues weight, it really wasn't hard and the finished weight came out right where I wanted it at 19.5 oz.

Thanks for your interested.

New Cue

As usual it looks outstanding. Also as usual your ringwork really makes it stand out from the crowd. You do have an eye for good choices to complement the over all work. Thanks for sharing.

Really unique looking but the colors work together real well.If it hits as good as it looks, then you know your doing everything right.:smile:Great work!

Nice work, Craig. How stiff is the hit ??

It hits firm like all my cues do, but I would not call it stiff. It does however, transmit power and spin very very well and that is what I was after when I built this cue.

It is amazing how many people think that the construction of a cues butt has little effect to no effect on the transmission of power and spin. It seems that people think that the cues shaft and tip are mainly responsible for this action.

Thanks for your comments, and have a great night.

Looks Great.

What would also look great is a matching ash shaft with a matching ebony butterfly splice. ;)

Absolutely love it!! You have a very keen eye indeed. Thanks for sharing!

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

It really shined up very nicely.
Love the look of this cue and I am sure it will hit pretty well.

Hi Craig
Beautiful cue. I need to get over and see it. Vary unique and fine looking use of woods. I will be by to hit a few balls and I am sure it hits a ton like all of the cues you have made and let me shoot. Take Care

Again thanks to everyone who posted, and Randy stop by when you get some time, I think you will really like this cue Buddy.

Take care
