Hey Everyone!

Hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year! John sent me a link to my new case that he shipped. I am excited to see it, hopefully by the end of the week.

We are also working on another case that should be done shortly as well. It's his first of this kind, I think...

Love the color/material combo and accenting. A very unique case. I too have designed a case with John....can't wait for my third JB Case....:)

A few details for everyone else. The gator print is inlaid in the pockets and on the handles as well as under the letters.

The initials are solid brass which were custom built in a friends machine shop. For those that think I never do any work on the cases I deburred the edges, sanded and polished them to get them nice and smooth and shiny.

The black leather is oil tanned nappa with an elephant texture. I thought that this case turned out very nicely and would have been happy to keep it as my own if my initials were CMD. ;-)

looks great...i have also been thinking about ordering a butterfly case....this is my favorite jb case to date...cg chris i will see you in 2 months.....
 
:thumbup: Great job John, and excellent design Chris... I really like the brass letters...very classy indeed!! I think your Sugartrees will be pleased to be wrapped up in all that plush leather :D....

Thank you John for truly making me a one of a kind case. I have appreciated working with you also. I definitely learned a lot. Thanks again for your patience during the design phase.

Thank you all very much! I truly appreciate the kind words. This case will now take the place of a 13 year old Instroke 3x5. I have sold off the others to make room for this one. And the "other" new one to come...:rolleyes:

What a fantastic case! After seeing this, I have contacted JB to discuss his Butterfly cases myself. This has to be the nicest soft case out there!

Please post more pictures of inside the pockets (I'd like to see the comment JB made ''The gator print is inlaid in the pockets and on the handles'').

How much did this case cost? I would like to know because I will be ordering one this year and it gives me time to save :)

Well, I finally recieved my case and it looks better than the pictures!


Monkey-Boy -----> please ask John to quote you a price. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of case.

Glad you like your new case! I agree, JB cases are a great value for your money.
