came in the mail yesterday
Too late for cue of the year consideration

and honestly not as absolutely intricate as some of those
masterpieces
But

It is absolutely my favorite example of the perfect cue

Jerry is sending pics to Nick Serdula to post here
so please wait to reply, leave the space next
it could be a day or 2

This is what I call the perfect cue, mother of pearl ib a unique configuration
in the spirit of the old Palmers with some influences from some of today's
great talents

I am eager to display this old school style on performance enhancing stuff

This cue should introduce some of you to the great talent of Jerry
Rauenzahn

I want to publicly thank and credit him for little treasure and invite you guys to post your examples of his fine work below

No Photos Yet As I Write This Post

Nick hasn't posted photos yet but I'm wondering whether we'll see some acrylics in this design, especially since it's a Palmer theme......I'm thinking gold or green rings and maybe some MOP etched diamonds and some dots...veneers & maybe Cortland Linen #9. Jerry has been knocking it out of the park with his cue designs last year & his hot streak continues into 2015.

this is a picture in progress

looks good here, but now that its finished it is very good

if you guys want to see the beautiful finished product someone needs to come by
and take them

even these pics hint at what i consider to be the
PERFECT CUE

That is a gorgeous cue! Someone please go over and take pics so I can see it finished. Or you can just send me the cue and I'll take as many pics of it as you want, ha!

What is it wrapped with so I can better picture the finished product in my mind?

If that is wrapless, which I imagine it is not, I want one too. Gorgeous cue deanoc. Congrats

Jerry can do wrapless or anything, but I requested a black smooth leather
Had i done green veneers i would have chosen cortland irish lenin

i hope you guys are enjoying the pictures,
i will try to post some finished cue pictures

Dunn, you know by now that everything i own is for sale
and my prices are always fair

Addressed to the nines cue like this goes for $2300
with ivory joint, ferrules and this much work

i haven't hit any balls yet

Wow, seems like a great price for a cue with so many inlays. Warp that in linen and I'd be one happy guy! Congrats on a beauty!!!

Dean.......Is This a Palmer Design?

Golly Dean.....It's a dandy but I'd swear this cue uses a George Balabushka design referred to as "Kaliedoscope" because I almost had Jerry make this same design for me after he let me know my original design was going to make my cue too heavy because of the rings I picked.

This cue has a really fancy sleeve design........it's another splendid cue from Jerry.

Indeed this thing is everything I have been waiting to see. Thank you for the pictures, finally. Great cue...Matt D.

many thanks to Larry for the pictures taken with his phone
in the front seat of his pick up truck

we had great pizza for lunch,he showed me his new developments
in pool cues and even decided to make me two really fancy cues

I am thankful for the opportunity of getting one,he has made me several
of the basic cues in order to determine exactly what I liked to play with
before undertaking these soon to be beauties

After about 5 experiments.I tested and played with,I came to the conclusion that
all of the cues were so well suited to my game that I was ready to take the plunge and buy

some of the butterfly and full splice bridge veneer cues with ebony fronts.

I know Larry is not taking orders as a rule.so I am especially thankful to him for
treating me so good
