Lee Converted this Tru-Balance for me and we collaborated on how it should be done. He came up with some awesome ideas such as all the black you see is buckhorn and the shafts are piloted old Rambo style. Buckhorn ferrules and custom LP joint protectors with mother of pearl dots. Those cost me extra but as you can see they really make the package. 5/16X14 SS joint. Then of course the Tru-Balance Decal Under the clear to keep it protected. That too was Lee's idea and so if anyone is thinking of having him build a cue for you these are the kind of things he does to take it beyond a simple conversion. Let me know what you think. Just wanted to share but to also Thanks Lee for everything!

Turned out great, Duane. The sticker is an awesome extra! Very cool. Lee has a real sense for clean, classic looks.

Thanks Chris. Yeah I can't wait to take her out for a long day of play. I just know this cue is gonna hit nice!

Duane

Looks like a real nice player.

I just got a house cue conversion from Lee several weeks ago. 60" love how it plays.

Thanks Scott. Lee wanted me to try a Molavia tip so one shaft has one and the other has a LePro. Will see how sh:grin:e shoots tonight! It just arrived yesterday and the pics are nice but in person it's just gorgeous. The grain in this old Tru-Balance is just beautiful.

This is also cue # 1 of a four piece collection Lee is building for me that will all be conversions of old Brunswick cues. Still to come is an old pre 1920's BBC 4 pointer, a Titlist, and and a 1920's butterfly splice.

Tru-Balance

Very clean looking Tru-balance conversion and it's still a Tru-balance to boot.
Pretty clever stuff, thanks for showing it.

Nice

I've seen some pictures of this cue that Lee posted The Rambo piloted shafts are an especially nice touch. I was talking with him about a cue. Then I lost my job. Its probably a good thing I didn't get One because It would have broken my hart to have to sell it. Congratulations on your new cue.

Andrew

How is the hit. Getting ready to order one this weekend
hopefully

Like a monster! Lee put a LePro tip on one shaft, cuz that's what I usually use, and a Molavia on the other to try. Man I'll tell ya this cue with the Molavia tip screams. Very Very solid yet lots of action if you want it. A perfect pairing. Order up my friend you won't be disapointed. What are you ordering?

black buckhorn ?

please educate me as to the black buckhorn. is this wate buffalo horn or dyed stag horn.

i use a lot of stag, deer, and elk, but have never seen and solid black.

this is a beautiful conversion and the builder should be congratulated on a great job.
