Dakota Cues

Just delivered on 8/27/10, and while it is simple, I feel it is one of the best looking cues I have ever owned! This is a bit ironic, since the cue was not even made for me. It was an "In-Stock" cue that Richard did as a test. Check out the "Before" pictures here. The only things I had him do were to tweak the weight, and add an elephant wrap to it.

Speaking of which, I absolutely LOVE the Elephant wrap, and Richard does one of the best in the business. Plus, it REALLY makes this cue look super classy!!!

Will post a full review after I log some serious time, but check out the pictures.

Mike,
That is a cue from my neighbor right there.
I owned 2 of them and they played awesome.
So... How long will it last in your hands? Let me know when you are going to post if for sale :). Hot looking cue my friend.

Nice looking Chudy cue. I agree the elephant is a step up to the linnen. Monster player. Did you give up the Hunter to get this one or do you have both?

Thanks for the compliments.

This is the ONLY cue I own (for now), and I don't see it going anywhere in the near future. The only thing that will probably change is the tips. This cue came with Molavia tips on it, and I want to try out the Kamui Blacks I'm more familiar with.

The wrap is just awesome!!! I like leather over linen, and the elephant is a step up from that as well. The texture is just great, and even when your hand sweats a bit, the wrap is still tacky.

This will not be the last cue I get with an elephant wrap!!!

Good looking cue man!!!!!!! you want something good you gotta order it from nor cal!

i've got a chudy myself and it plays lights out.

Very nice man,
This is making me want to order a Chudy. A good friend of mine had one earlier this year and boy was it a great playing cue.

WOW now that is the kind of cue i will be looking for in the future
NICE good luck with it Sir
Chris

Thanks again guys.

I noticed there are very few Chudy's for sale on this board. After playing with one a while back, and now this one, it's easy to see why.

I picked up my first at VF this year. Chudy's first box cue. It plays like a dream. I had my fears that I might not like it...now I can't imagine not having one of his cues.

those are sure nicely figured wood on the points, who needs veneers when you have wood that pretty? the elephand shin wrap looks great and will look better with use. That cue is "my" style player cue, i like cues with those attributes in a player-and its gotta play good too. Great cue 10/10.

Less IS More...

Thanks again for the kind words everyone.

I think my taste in cues has changed a bit. Before I not only wanted to play pool, but wanted to play with a very nice looking cue. It's almost like playing an electric guitar. I was always drawn to the higher end PRS or Les Paul type models.

Now my focus is more on the playing, and what I look for is a cue that Plays and Feels good, but without being flashy.

For me this cue is like a Fender Stratocaster. It's just simple and elegent, and really allows me to focus on how I play, instead of what I look like playing.

Stunning cue, sir. Just stunning.

Saw that Mr. Chudy has one in Ebony, too...and at 19.3 ounces, no less.

Enjoy!!
