Joel just sent me these photo's, he has just finished my cue. It will arrive on Tuesday and I absolutely can't wait to take it out for a spin. It's been nothing but a pleasure to deal with Mr. Hercek. I pestered him pretty bad these last 6 months about details here and there and I just gotta thank him for putting up with me and for making me the cue I've always wanted. My father pointed out that the cue looks like a combination of Balabuska and Gus Szamboti with the notched diamonds and barbells in the windows. Solid black collars, steel joint, with a smooth leather wrap (thanks for recommending it SEBAS) I'm just so thrilled with how this cue came out and opening these pictures up was like Christmas morning. This cue was years and years in the making and I had alot of conversations and emails with Mr. Hercek over the years and now it's finally here. I highly recommend if you aren't on his list TO GET on it. He is truly a master and one of a kind. I'll be sure to let you fellas know how it plays. My ebony Hercek I had played really good. Every Hercek I've ever hit with was just awesome. Thanks again Mr. Hercek you are a true credit to your craft and you have the highest respect from me. Enjoy the pictures guys!

Very nice design and execution. I like that piece of birdseye used for the forearn. Cue makes me want to go shoot some... Good luck with it.

This thing is going to see some play that's for sure. This will be my first rosewood. I'm sure pictures just don't do the cue justice.

That is sweet!!! Joel is the nicest to work with. I think he needs a secretary, no.......a shrink to field all of our calls during the process. I like the BLACK collars!! I am happy to see that I am doing that on my next one in September!!!!

I really like the style of your new cue and it has my favorite veneer color combination. A cue like yours is an investment that can be enjoyed for years and will probably go up in value.

Awesome cue

FYI The barbells weren't inlaid into the boxes. The barbells are actually part of the butt and the boxes were inlaid into the cue. Something that I have not seen on another cue by any maker. You are really going to enjoy it. I am glad you opted for the leather wrap. Oh and yes I guess Joel is ok to work with:)
