corvette, i am going to try to workout this spot between you guys, we are going to start with , you can use 2 pieces of chalk and jay uses only one. now thats a spot if i have ever seen one. just let us know where and when. chuck

a better spot would be Jay using NO chalk. By the way, could you make a cue using a lot of ivory and amboyna burl?

FYI - I spoke with Chuck about making a cue for me. We ironed out all the specs, woods, etc and he said that he would send me the cue when it is finished and if I didn't like to just send it back. If I decided to keep it, then I would send him the $$.

I don't know if he makes that deal with everyone, but what a trusting soul.

Can't wait to get it and try it out!!!

ps - I also told Chuck that he could make the joint tighter on mine because I'm not a wimp like Jay!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D

Ya.....I heard that about you Jay........from my buddies new wife, who is from the Philipines. Amazing how things like that get around like wildfire.

is it better than the Josey or do you like the Josey better?

I really like my STARKEY. This is the second STARKEY I've played with and it's WAY good. It belongs to a friend but I'm prolly not going to give it back:)

FF IV Jt, IV FER and high growth count natural shaft. My first STARKEY featured a laminated shaft and I prefer the cue I have now.

The way CHUCK does business is also appreciated!:)

I'm totally used to my Josey. It feels like part of my arm. The Starkey is a different hit and feel, but I could definitely get used to it as well. All I can say is that it is one of the few cues I have that is NOT FOR SALE!

That is one great looking cue Jay, do you know if he has a site showing some of his cues with price ranges?

Did you bring the Josey or the Starkey?
